This is a photo history of my home building project. Click on any picture for a better view. The goal is to build a small, efficient two bedroom home with low maintenance and low ecological impact. It's constructed of Insulated Composite Concrete Forms (ICCF), with hydronic heat in a slab on grade. The forms are a mixture of concrete and post-consumer recycled polystyrene. The property is waterfront acreage on Hood Canal in Washington state.
The 1940's American Standard Bath Pond was lifted up the stairwell with a block and tackle.
Same with the "trash burner" cast iron stove that will use the chimney until the fireplace downstairs is connected
