Bucking the gable ends
I used the packing strapping again to hold the forms to the gable ends. I had to pour in lifts, so the form boards were placed higher as we went up each gable. The anchor bolts for the plate was already attached to the form board.
The top of the wall also had to have a board on it near the gable ends to keep the hydrostatic pressure from pushing concrete out.
Here's what it looks like finished. You can see the anchor bolts. I cleaned up a few places with the angle grinder and then used a water level on the wall. One spot was 1/8" low. That will keep me awake at night.
