Dewatto House

This is a photo history of my home building project. Click on any picture for a better view. The goal is to build a small, efficient two bedroom home with low maintenance and low ecological impact. It's constructed of Insulated Composite Concrete Forms (ICCF), with hydronic heat in a slab on grade. The forms are a mixture of concrete and post-consumer recycled polystyrene. The property is waterfront acreage on Hood Canal in Washington state.

Little Kubota saves shovel work.

The little Kubota can reach over the footing and fill two wheelbarrows at once. Quite a time saver. Thanks, Marge!
