This is a photo history of my home building project. Click on any picture for a better view. The goal is to build a small, efficient two bedroom home with low maintenance and low ecological impact. It's constructed of Insulated Composite Concrete Forms (ICCF), with hydronic heat in a slab on grade. The forms are a mixture of concrete and post-consumer recycled polystyrene. The property is waterfront acreage on Hood Canal in Washington state.
It showed up over an hour late, but they called and kept me updated when they found out that their prior job was turning into a fiasco. Just as they got set up, the concrete showed up.
