3D model

2 p.m. winter sun Posted by Hello
This is a model of the house. All I had to do was print out elevations from the software program (Chief Architect), glue them on foam board, pin it together, glue it, and add a little watercolor paint. Then I can orient it as it will be built and put in in the sun to see where the shadows will fall. The program can do the same on the monitor, but this is better. The roof pitch was too steep, so it has been modified.  On the right is a little arbor that I thought would look nice.  Turns out that 5 year later I actually put one in.  I had forgotten about that until I came back to this post.
