The white dot on the beach (left side of the little cove) is the site of our yurt. The building site is the cleared area on the hill right behind it. You can click on the picture a couple of times to enlarge it. 
This is a photo history of my home building project. Click on any picture for a better view. The goal is to build a small, efficient two bedroom home with low maintenance and low ecological impact. It's constructed of Insulated Composite Concrete Forms (ICCF), with hydronic heat in a slab on grade. The forms are a mixture of concrete and post-consumer recycled polystyrene. The property is waterfront acreage on Hood Canal in Washington state.
